The Defense Travel System (DTS) is a fully integrated, automated, end-to-end travel management system that enables DoD travelers to create authorizations (TDY travel orders), prepare reservations, receive approvals, generate travel vouchers, and receive a split reimbursement between their bank accounts and the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) vendor.

There are no out of pocket costs with TDY Haven Crash Pad. We offer all of our rooms at the same rate as on-base housing. One of the biggest benefits to staying with us is that you are not restricted to your hotel room – you have a kitchen, living room, large green backyard with places to relax, study, and enjoy your TDY stay.   • As far as billing, think of TDY Haven as a hotel. Rent is charged at a nightly rate on whichever credit card you choose: either your Government Travel Card (GTC) or a personal card. Usually we bill that card once a month for the total number of nights you stayed with us that month. As far as the Defense Travel System (DTS) is concerned, we are the same as a hotel.
  • At the beginning of each month, you will receive an invoice from TDY Haven as well as a receipt from the credit card transaction.
Enjoy our rewards program! Once you’re established, if you refer someone at a later time, that completes their TDY stay with us, we will be providing a referral bonus as a thank you. We appreciate you keeping us in mind when referring people that stay with us down the line.

We have been in your shoes; depending on your training, your TDY start and end dates may change – and that’s okay! There is no penalty for needing to change dates based on changed TDY dates. If your end-date moves to a later-date, we are often able to accommodate you for the remaining duration of your TDY stay, we are flexible and do our best to fit your needs.
